Song Pathways was founded by its Executive Director and primary Teaching Artist, Susanna Carman. Through her extensive work as a vocal coach, music educator, performing artist, music program coordinator and workshop facilitator, Ms. Carman recognised the significant value music brought to the lives of people seeking meaningful forms of expression and engaging learning experiences. As a result, she began introducing a series of singing and song writing workshops to youth and adults via schools, libraries and arts councils in regional communities where creative and innovative learning opportunities were scarce. Today, Song Pathways delivers music-based education programs to communities throughout regional NSW and QLD.
